Catering Policies

Thank you for choosing RiverStone Resort & Spa as your event destination. Our team is thrilled to assist you in planning and executing a memorable and unique event for you and your guests. If the menu options presented here do not meet your specific requirements, we welcome the opportunity to customize menus according to your needs.

Billing and Deposits:

  • Payment in advance is required for all events
  • A $500.00 Non-Refundable deposit is required when booking your event. This deposit will hold the space for you and will be applied towards the total bill.
  • 50% of the estimated charges are due (6) weeks prior to the event, with the final payment due (15) days prior to the event.
  • All taxes and service charges are in addition to the menu prices quoted.
  • All pricing is per person unless noted otherwise.
  • Tax Exempt Groups must provide proper documentation in advance. Tax will not be adjusted once final counts and contracts have been signed, regardless of tax-exempt status.

Food and Beverage:

  • Final menu selections must be submitted to the Catering Director no later than six (6) weeks prior to the event, at which time a 50% deposit of the estimated charges will be required.
  • All food and beverage must be supplied by RiverStone Resort and its caterers. No outside food or beverage is permitted unless previously agreed upon in writing by the General Manager and Director of Catering.
  • All events catered in outdoor areas will be served on premium disposables.
  • To comply with FDA Food Code, all food provided through RiverStone Resort must be consumed in the function space provided during the contracted mealtimes. Food and beverage cannot be taken out of the meeting rooms or function by the Client or its attendees, and "to-go" containers will not be provided.
  • Special Dietary Needs must be given in advance and no later than the final headcount due date (15) days prior. There is an upcharge for special dietary meals. Special Dietary Meals cannot be provided on the day of the event.


  • RiverStone Resort does not provide alcoholic beverages.
  • Groups may provide their own alcohol, but there is a service fee as well as a bartender fee. A bartender is required for all events with alcohol and must be provided by the Resort.  Please speak to your catering representative for pricing.


We aim to provide transparent pricing and ensure that you are aware of all charges associated with your event. Confirmed food and beverage pricing will not be provided more than 90 days before the function/event date. Due to fluctuating food and beverage prices, menu prices may change without notice unless confirmed by a signed Banquet Event Order (BEO).

Please note that a customary 22% service charge and applicable sales taxes will be added to all food and beverage charges, meeting room rentals, and audiovisual charges specified in the contract and BEO. The minimum number of attendees required for food and beverage functions will be charged if fewer guests are guaranteed. The service charge is subject to change without notice.

Room Selections:

RiverStone Resort reserves the right to change meeting space based on fluctuations in the number of guests or prevailing weather conditions if the function is scheduled to be outside.  Should weather conditions clear, the Banquet Manager reserves the right to utilize the backup space due to set-up time, labor, etc. Once the decision has been made, it is final.

Banquet and Event Details

To ensure that we are fully prepared and can accommodate all your needs, we request that you provide the final details of your event 30 days in advance.

Guarantee Agreement

We require a confirmation of guaranteed attendance at least 5 working days in advance of all functions. Your bill will be based on the guaranteed number, plus charges over and above. Our culinary team will make every effort to replicate your menu for any additional guests; however, if this cannot be done, we will provide a substitute entrée. In case we do not receive a guarantee, the number of guests indicated as "Expected" on the banquet event order will be considered as the guarantee.


  • No rice, birdseed, glitter, sparklers, or confetti may be used either inside or outside RiverStone Resort. Usage of the aforementioned will result in a cleaning fee of $200.
  • Flames of any kind are prohibited inside or outside the Resort (candles, etc.).
  • All decorations, displays, or exhibits brought into the Resort must be approved in advance by contacting your catering representative.
  • Items may not be attached to any wall, floor or ceiling. The Resort will not assume any responsibility for damaged or lost articles left prior to, during or following the function.

Our staff is available to provide recommendations for floral arrangements, decorations, photographers, and entertainment to make your event truly memorable. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and accommodating any special requests. Please do not hesitate to inform us of how we can make your event a success.
